The Serengeti is Tanzania's oldest and most celebrated national park — nearly 15,000 km² of endless golden plains that host the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth: the annual Great Migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebra.

Best time to visit: June–October (dry season) for game & crossings; January–February for the calving season.
